India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC): New Momentum for Strategic Partnership

At the third meeting of the India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) held in Brussels, an agreement was reached to enhance cooperation in areas such as AI, semiconductors, electric vehicles, renewable energy, digital technology, and secure supply chains. The TTC is a high-level strategic forum designed to foster trade, technology, investment, and digital innovation between India and the EU. The meeting placed special emphasis on sectors including advanced technology, green hydrogen, battery technology, energy efficiency, and sustainable mobility. This collaboration will strengthen India's technological capabilities, investment, clean energy initiatives, global supply chain integration, and the goal of an 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India).

During the third meeting of the India-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) held in Brussels (Belgium), both sides agreed to deepen cooperation in strategic sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductors, electric vehicles (EVs), renewable energy, digital technology, and secure supply chains. India was represented at the meeting by External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

The Trade and Technology Council (TTC) is a high-level strategic forum established between India and the European Union, aimed at strengthening cooperation in trade, technology, digital innovation, investment, and supply chains. The third TTC meeting placed special emphasis on enhancing cooperation in sectors such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), semiconductors, High-Performance Computing (HPC), secure digital infrastructure, electric vehicles, battery technology, green hydrogen, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable mobility. Additionally, discussions were held on promoting trade and investment, as well as making global supply chains more secure and resilient.
