India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026: India moves towards global leadership in digital technology with the theme ‘Scale Beyond Boundaries’
Union Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia unveiled the theme "Scale Beyond Boundaries" for the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2026, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from October 7–10, 2026. IMC, Asia's largest digital technology forum, will showcase emerging technologies such as 5G, 6G, AI, IoT, satellite communication, cloud, quantum, and green technology. The event focuses on establishing India as a leading hub for global digital innovation and telecommunications technology, while promoting initiatives like the India 6G Alliance, the PLI scheme, and the Sanchar Saathi portal. According to the Minister, over the past two and a half years, India has connected 500 million (50 crore) people to 5G services, attracted investments worth ₹4.5 lakh crore, and installed 500,000 (5 lakh) telecom towers.
